Tutor David Price has been successfully teaching drawing and painting workshops for over ten years and regularly tutors for the London School of Painting & Drawing and Tate Modern.

Anne Noble-Partridge has been teaching life drawing and painting at Candid Arts Trust for six years and also currently teaches life drawing at Tate Modern.

A complete one day painting workshop in oils and acrylics.*

This intensive one day workshop provides the basic skills needed to approach painting from life with confidence. Enjoy the friendly atmosphere of our fully equipped studio in a class ideal for the complete beginner as well as those with more experience.

The morning section of the class will include preparatory drawing and sketches in acrylic and preparing the composition and foundations of your painting. During the afternoon, students will progress into completing the main body of the painting in oils The aim of the workshop is for the student to have completed an in-depth sketch in oils and acrylics by the end of the day.

 All basic materials are included in the course fee - including acrylic and oil paints, brushes, palettes, sketching equipment and painting paper. If you specifically want to paint on canvas it is fine to provide your own.

 Places must be booked in advance and are limited!

*Completion of the drawing course is not a necessary requirement to take part in the Painting Saturdays.
