I make paintings that engage the viewer, both intellectually and aesthetically. Colours are arranged in a complex and methodical way to both stimulate and confuse the eye. I use simple, often repetitive, motifs to explore the differing visual effects of various colour schemes. The geometic pattern has an order and regularity that can easily be disruped with the addition of colour. This is what fascinates me.
