My current work deals with human fragility. It is an installation of human faces, combined with a video projection. Some of the faces are made of pure ice and others of ice mixed with red acrylic colour, so that as soon as they dissolve they leave a trace behind.

The process and material are important to the making of the work, as these lend the work the intrinsic significance they bring. Ice expands in the freezer and cracks, it then slowly dissolves and transforms into something else, ultimately disappearing.
