My recent work explores my experience as an identical twin, through the process of taking photographs and video recording. The work is a discussion of twinship, which addresses issues of identity, authenticity and conflict. The video pieces touch on, and evoke in the viewer, emotions which are at times raw and uncomfortable. They highlight the frustrations and drawbacks of being a twin, which are often overlooked in favour of more novel and potentially mysterious aspects such as telepathy and swapping identities.
