Through photography I want to create an experience in the mind of the viewer through imagery which evokes a sense of a universal story or metaphor. In short this means that the images that I create will cue the viewers to go inside themselves and think about ideas that relate to their personalities. The images that I have been creating concentrate on deep perspectives and through strong leading lines concentrate the viewer to a point in the composition where they can start to go inside themselves. I have also been exploring the effects of reflections as a vehicle to create confusion between where reality ends and figments of the imagination begin. With these two elements coupled together, although not necessarily in the same image, I want to crate an installation of ideas in the mind of the viewer.
