Andrea Marostegan developed his painting style through direct experience and academic training. He enjoys looking at the world and his paintings suggest its forms and atmosphere. The artistic language is expressive, allusive and rich of references to modern art history. The paintings invoke the sensation of flying through the air, of freedom. His art has developed from his daily life, experience and emotions, but also from a sense of our destiny as human beings. Andrea expresses this through the spirituality of his figures.
