My paintings are often landsape based but also focus on the experience of personal journey. Inspiration comes from the fusion of memory and experience - an awareness of sensation, sound and colour. Like songs and poems, spaces and places remain within us and through the process of painting they re-emerge as new spaces, imaginary spaces and places of dreams and hopes.
