Embodiment of the Elements- Air,fire, water and earth, lie at the heart of my work. I often produce my work whilst in movement that can be travelling over the sea, walking or simply passing over land. This has come about from seeing my work as transitional and antithetical to the idea of the art as object ans the viewer as the subject. I believe tthat the art should transcend these physical and mental boundaries within space. Artists who strongly influence me are Yves Klein, Alberto Giacommetti, Antonin Artauc, and Mark Rothko. I am also influenced by Simone de Beauvoir, Albert Camus andß Jean Paul Sartre.
