My practice focuses on the documentary photographs relationship and role with cultural representation and it's ability to communicate within today's sea of visual consumption. I explore the personal within the political through collaboration with my subjects whilst simultaneously attempting to re-represent issues I see as misrepresented. The images here are part of 'silent voice,' a collaborative project with an asylum seeker whose story is re- represented as evidence in the form of a book combining documented photographs with text narrative.
