Next Screening TBA • Candid Galleries will be hosting its regular screening of independent short films. • Making short films is a great way to create creative projects of high artistic value on a lower budget and to make a step towards the film industry. • The experience gained during a short film shoot may lead to the success of a later feature length film from the creators. Our projection room is opened for short films of all genre; from experimental shorts to dramas, animations and documentary films.Candid Projection Room is interested in showing these films that are rarely screened in public spaces and it aims to encourage discussions between filmmakers and with the audience. •We are taking submissions via post (Candid Projection Room: 3, Torrens street, EC1V 1NQ, London) and via email if you have an online version of your work ( cpr@candidarts.com ). •You may download our submission form at www.candidarts.com /cpr • The films are going through a selection process by the CPR team and a program of approximately 12 films is being created each months with attention to the variety of genres. • Criteria: • - Length: max 20mins • - Format: DVD (4:3/ 16:9) • - Genre: any • - Country of origin: any • The submission is free and if your film is being selected the admission is free for the film's principal crew and £3 for guests and other members of the audience.
